27-14-25 was a multi-site pavement rehabilitation contract for the Waipa District Council across Budden Rd, Candy Rd, and Rotoorangi Rd sites. This contract was successfully delivered on budget and before time.
Earthworks: The removal of topsoil and re-grassing, and cut material to waste, including carriageway widening, water table and rebating shoulders.
Pavement construction: Widening of carriageway, digging out of weak pavement and minor shape correction. Pavement Construction comprised supply and delivery of overlay material, the stabilisation of and 2 coat sealing of over 25,000m2. This figure includes a total of 26 entranceways across the 3 sites.
Drainage improvements: Subsoil drainage, culvert renewals (upgrades), entrance culverts, water tabling including some riprap scour protection
Quality assurance: This contract was internally audited to Inframax’s ISO 9001 certification during and post construction. No quality non conformances were encountered during this contract.
Health and safety: Multiple TMP’s (Traffic lights, static contra flow and manual traffic control) were approved and utilized for this contract. The safe and successful delivery of this contract is evidenced by the fact that no traffic incidents were reported and no injuries were sustained during the course of the contract.
South Taranaki Egmont Area road maintenance and reseals contract 13/02 is a combined road maintenance and reseal contract for the Egmont area of the STDC network. The Egmont area of STDC comprises the area from Hawera & SH3 west to the coast and north to Mt Taranaki and comprises a network total of 816km. The network has a strong focus on sealed pavement, drainage and routine maintenance, and incident response. Contract 13/02 includes the annual Egmont Area reseal /re-surfacing programme.
Building on recent successes within the company in 2012/2013, Inframax established a new office / depot in Hawera (on Camberwell Rd) and implemented a new contract philosophy driven by locally based Contract Manager Wayne Snellgrove and Supervisor Chris Clarke. Since 2013 Inframax has developed a core group of dedicated and skilled individuals based in the South Taranaki District. On many occasions our Hawera team go ‘above and beyond’ to ensure work is completed safely, on time and to quality standards for the ratepayers of the South Taranaki District.
